Offshore Security Operations
• Support offshore installation, drilling, and pipelay operations in compliance with Shell LOD requirements, project SIMOPS, and marine safety rules.
• Monitor and assure contractor security plans (HMC, Micoperi, Borr Drilling, etc.) and ensure alignment with Shell security expectations.
• Oversee Security Escort Vessel (SEV) tasking, route assurance, vessel interface coordination, and offshore personnel movement.
• Conduct offshore security briefings, journey risk assessments, and daily log/update reporting.
Onshore Security Operations (Bonny, Onne, ROW Corridor)
• Provide security oversight for onshore ROW pipelay, shoreline approach works, dredging support, FLB/CPF construction interfaces and temporary logistics hubs.
• Assure contractor access control, laydown yard security, equipment movement, and daily workforce movement.
• Coordinate with community liaison teams, local leadership, and onshore GSA to maintain safe operational corridors.
• Support daily PH ? Onne logistics oversight (when assigned) including contractor mobilisation, permit checks, vessel load-out and personnel screening.
Stakeholder & Government Interface
• Liaise professionally with Government Security Authorities (GSA), NPF, NSCDC, DSS, and community security networks.
• Facilitate daily coordination with contractor security leads and on-site supervisors.
• Support conflict de-escalation, community engagement sensing, and proactive management of local tensions.
Governance, Compliance & Reporting
• Implement Shell security standards, including LOD1/LOD2 assurance requirements, Security Operating Level (SOL) controls, and Duty of Care principles.
• Ensure contractor security teams adhere to approved Security Plans, SIMOPS procedures, muster/evacuation rules, and incident reporting standards.
• Produce professional daily SITREPs, incident logs, trend observations, and escalation notes to the Security Operations Manager (SOM).
5. HSE & Risk Management
• Maintain consistent interface with HSE teams, including participation in toolbox talks, hazard identification, and operational risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with PPE requirements, safe movement procedures, and emergency response readiness.
• Contribute to vessel/rig/platform emergency drills and ensure security readiness is aligned to medical and evacuation contingencies.
