Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lekki Phase1, Lagos State, Nigeria. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
The Human Resources Manager will design and implement HR policies, support workforce planning, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards. Daily tasks include partnering with leadership on organizational development, managing employee relations, resolving workplace issues, and promoting a positive, inclusive culture.
The role also involves coordinating training and development initiatives, maintaining accurate HR records, and using HR data to improve processes and employee experience.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
• Strong skills in policy development, HR operations, and compliance with labor regulations, preferably within Nigeria.
• Proficiency in HR information systems, data analysis for HR decision-making, and documentation management.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive issues with sound judgment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; professional HR certification is an advantage.
• Experience working in technology-driven or high-growth environments in Africa is a plus.
