Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

We are looking for a highly organized, people-focused, and proactive HR Coordinatorto join our team and support the smooth delivery of our people operations.

The ideal candidate will be someone who understands that HR goes beyond documentation and recruitment. You will play a key role in creating efficient people processes, supporting employees and managers, coordinating recruitment and onboarding, maintaining accurate employee records, and helping build a positive and accountable workplace culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

Recruitment & Talent Coordination

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviews, assessments, and onboarding.

• Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and support effective hiring decisions.

• Coordinate interviews, candidate communication, assessments, and recruitment documentation.

• Maintain recruitment trackers and ensure timely follow-up throughout the hiring process.

• Support recruitment for both technical and non-technical roles.

Employee Experience & HR Operations

• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, employee documentation, and offboarding processes.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.

• Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communication.

• Coordinate staff meetings, training sessions, performance reviews, and other people-related activities.

• Respond to employee queries and escalate sensitive matters appropriately.

Performance & Employee Relations

• Support the implementation and tracking of employee performance goals, KPIs, probation reviews, confirmations, and performance improvement processes.

• Assist managers with documentation relating to employee performance and conduct.

• Support the implementation of HR policies and ensure employees understand applicable procedures.

• Participate in exit processes, including exit interviews and documentation.

• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling employee matters.

HR Systems & Process Improvement

• Identify gaps in existing HR processes and recommend practical improvements.

• Develop and maintain HR trackers, templates, reports, checklists, and documentation.

• Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and employee processes.

• Use digital tools to improve HR administration, communication, reporting, and workflow efficiency.

• Ensure HR records and processes remain organized, accessible, and compliant with company requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in HR coordination, HR operations, recruitment, or a similar role.

• Experience managing recruitment processes and coordinating multiple vacancies simultaneously.

• Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, probation, confirmation, performance management, and exit processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with employees and management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing tasks, and take ownership of responsibilities.

• Experience working in a fast-paced or growing organization will be an advantage.
