We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at the Ikota Service Station. The Cashier will handle customer payments, keep accurate records of transactions, and ensure that cash and other payments are properly accounted for.
Job Description
• Responsible for collecting, counting, recording, and banking daily cash sales of the station
• Responsible for safekeeping of all cash collected and tracking with Bankers Warehouse for pick up
• Preparation of daily/monthly POS reconciliation report to ensure accuracy of receipts of funds
• Monitoring of fuel attendants as it relates to cash mop up on the forecourt
• Responsible for managing station petty cash disbursement and application for reimbursement
• Responsible for responding to POS chargeback mails by providing support as required
• Any other tasks may be assigned from time to time
Requirements
• HND/Bsc in Accounting
• Minimum of 2-3 years in a similar or related role
• Professional qualification is an added advantage ACA or ACCA
• Attention to details
• Clear and accurate written and spoken communication
• Ability to work with and in teams’ settings
• Self-motivated and work well with little supervision
