As part of its continued growth, the company is seeking an experienced Admin Manager to oversee and coordinate administrative and operational support across its activities in Northern Nigeria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient administration, facilities management, logistics coordination, resource management, and smooth day-to-day operations across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate administrative operations across the Northern region.

Develop and implement effective administrative processes, policies, and procedures to support regional operations.

Coordinate the day-to-day administrative activities of offices, facilities, and operational locations across the region.

Manage office facilities, utilities, maintenance, security, and general workplace requirements.

Coordinate regional logistics, transportation, accommodation, travel arrangements, and other administrative support services.

Supervise and coordinate administrative staff across regional locations to ensure effective service delivery.

Ensure offices and operational locations are adequately equipped with the resources required for effective operations.

Manage administrative vendors, service providers, contractors, and other third-party suppliers.

Negotiate with vendors and service providers to achieve cost-effective and quality service delivery.

Monitor administrative expenses and ensure spending is within approved budgets.

Maintain proper records of company assets, equipment, facilities, leases, and other administrative resources.

Coordinate the allocation, maintenance, and replacement of company assets across the region.

Support the onboarding and relocation of employees within the region where required.

Work closely with HR to support employee welfare, attendance, accommodation, travel, and other administrative needs.

Coordinate internal movements, meetings, events, and other regional activities.

Ensure timely renewal and maintenance of relevant permits, licenses, service agreements, leases, and other administrative documentation.

Liaise with relevant government agencies, local authorities, landlords, community representatives, and other external stakeholders where necessary.

Establish and maintain effective administrative controls across regional locations.

Identify operational and administrative gaps and recommend practical solutions.

Monitor service providers and ensure agreed service standards are consistently maintained.

Prepare regular reports on administrative activities, expenditure, assets, facilities, logistics, and other regional operational matters.

Ensure compliance with company policies, administrative procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Travel across Northern Nigeria as required to monitor and support regional operations.

Requirements
Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in administration, operations, facilities management, or a related role.

Proven experience managing administrative or operational activities across multiple locations.

Experience in the downstream oil and gas sector or a related energy environment will be an added advantage.

Experience supervising and coordinating administrative teams.

Strong experience in facilities, logistics, vendor, asset, and general office management.

Experience coordinating regional operations across multiple offices, branches, sites, or operational locations.

Strong knowledge of administrative processes, controls, and best practices.

Demonstrated ability to manage vendors, negotiate service agreements, and control administrative costs.

Strong organisational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative management tools.

Good knowledge of the Northern Nigerian business and operating environment.

Willingness to travel extensively across the Northern region.
