Role Description The role is accountable for ensuring that the Company's financial, administrative and operational support functions are accurate, controlled, compliant, cost-effective and efficiently managed.

This includes effective oversight of Accounting & Reporting, Treasury, Tax, Audit & Controls, Payroll, Procurement, Inventory, Warehousing, Importation, Administration, Facilities, Fleet, Regulatory Compliance and support personnel, while providing Management with reliable information and recommendations for sound business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate general ledgers, books of accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and quarterly executive reviews.

Oversee bank reconciliations, cash flow management, daily sales reconciliations, and petty cash controls

Lead statutory tax compliance (PAYE, VAT, WHT, CIT) and ensure timely filings with zero penalty exposure.

Coordinate internal and external audit processes, driving implementation of internal audit controls.

Present quarterly financial reports, variance insights, and strategic analyses to executive management.

Review and monitor financial performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations for operational improvement.

Review product cost computations to ensure pricing accuracy, cost recovery, and healthy profit margins.

Direct general office administration, vendor contracts, procurement, and facility maintenance.

Develop and enforce administrative SOPs to optimize operational workflows across departments.

Supervise administrative support staff (driver, store/warehouse officers, office assistants).

Supervise warehouse and store operations to maintain structured stock receiving, storage, and dispatch.

Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and perform reconciliations against accounting records to eliminate variances.

Monitor Cost of Goods Sold, track stock damage/shrinkage, and implement loss-prevention measures.

Oversee administrative and financial aspects of importation, including Form M, freight coordination, and clearing agent supervision.

Serve as liaison for regulatory compliance with agencies such as SON, NAFDAC, and tax authorities.

Execute periodic account reconciliations with both local and foreign suppliers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is required.

5–8 years of progressive experience combining accounting/finance functions with administrative leadership.

Strong foundation in Accounting and Bookkeeping, with the ability to maintain accurate ledgers and organized financial records.

Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

Proficiency in Invoicing processes, accounts payable/receivable management, and basic billing procedures.

Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and support budgeting and forecasting.

Working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.

Familiarity with local financial regulations and tax practices in Nigeria is beneficial.

Renumeration

Salary - 1,000,000 gross monthly with other attractive benefits
