Description
• Tova HR Advisory is supporting a growing organisation to hire a Human Resources Officer who will join as the organisation’spioneer HR professional.
• This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who is ready to build, not just maintain, an HR function.
What you’ll be doing
• Establish and manage core HR processes, policies, and systems.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding.
• Support employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement.
• Coordinate payroll, benefits, leave, contracts, and HR records.
• Provide HR guidance and support to managers and employees.
• Ensure HR practices are aligned with applicable employment requirements.
• Build the foundations of the HR function as the organisation grows.
What we’re looking for
• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree
• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably as an HR Generalist or standalone HR professional.
• Experience across recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, performance management, and HR administration.
• Good knowledge of Nigerian employment practices and HR compliance.
• Experience developing or implementing HR policies, processes, or systems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Someone who ishands-on, proactive, organised, and comfortable building structure from the ground up.
