JOB VACANCY: OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE

Advanced Medical Life Sciences is seeking a competent, compassionate, and experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our healthcare team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and protecting the health and safety of employees, providing occupational health services, managing workplace-related injuries and illnesses, and supporting a healthy and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide occupational health assessment, first aid, and nursing care to staff.
Manage workplace injuries, accidents, and occupational illnesses.
Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and return-to-work health assessments.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee health records.
Monitor staff health and identify potential occupational health risks.
Support workplace health promotion, health education, and wellness programs.
Assist with emergency preparedness and response within the workplace.
Provide health counselling and appropriate referrals when required.
Collaborate with HR, management, and other healthcare professionals on employee health matters.
Participate in workplace health and safety assessments and risk-reduction initiatives.
Prepare occupational health reports and maintain appropriate documentation.
Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare, occupational health, and safety standards.
Requirements
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license.
Minimum of 2–3 years post–qualification nursing experience, preferably in occupational health, industrial nursing, emergency care, or a hospital setting.
Relevant experience in workplace health and safety will be an advantage.
Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
Good communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and electronic health records.
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable Qualifications
Additional certification/training in any of the following will be an advantage:
Occupational Health Nursing
Occupational Health & Safety
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
First Aid/CPR
Infection Prevention and Control
