SALES INTERN

About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Intern who is enthusiastic, confident, and eager to build practical experience in sales and business development.
The successful candidate will support the sales team with lead generation, customer engagement, follow-ups, prospecting, and administrative sales activities while developing practical skills in a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the sales team with identifying and researching potential customers and business opportunities.
• Support lead generation, prospecting, and outreach activities.
• Make and follow up on customer calls, emails, and other approved communication channels.
• Assist with qualifying leads and maintaining an updated sales pipeline.
• Support the preparation of quotations, proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
• Follow up with prospects and existing customers to support conversion and retention.
• Maintain accurate customer and prospect information in the CRM.
• Assist Sales Executives and Managers with client meetings, presentations, and business development activities.
• Research competitors, market trends, and potential customer segments.
• Support the team in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives.
• Provide professional customer service and escalate enquiries where necessary.
• Prepare basic sales activity reports and updates for management.
• Learn and apply effective sales, negotiation, communication, and relationship-management techniques.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree, or currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience; previous sales, customer service, business development, or internship experience is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident and comfortable speaking with customers and prospects.
• Strong interest in sales, business development, and client acquisition.
• Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and receive coaching.
• Professional attitude, resilience, and a positive approach to sales.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded individual who is comfortable communicating with people, willing to make calls, follow up with prospects, learn sales techniques, and work towards measurable targets.
Previous travel or aviation experience is not compulsory, but candidates with exposure to travel, aviation, hospitality, customer service, or other sales-driven environments will have an added advantage.
