Role Description The Financial Services Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based on Lagos Mainland. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive financial guidance to clients, including assessing individual needs, recommending suitable insurance and financial products, and developing tailored financial plans. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients, analyzing financial goals and risk profiles, preparing proposals, and advising on areas such as savings, investments, retirement planning, and protection solutions.
The advisor will collaborate with internal teams to align financial recommendations with FGI’s products and digital tools, maintain accurate client records, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. The role also involves educating clients on financial options, following up to review plan performance, and supporting business growth through proactive relationship management.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning and Financial Advisory skills, including the ability to assess client needs and create tailored financial strategies.
• Candidates should possess solid Finance and Investments skills, with the capability to analyze products, risks, and returns for diverse client portfolios.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Retirement Planning, including designing long-term savings and income plans aligned with client objectives.
• Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., financial planning or advisory credentials) are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and accessibly.
• Proven client relationship management skills, high ethical standards, and a commitment to regulatory compliance and confidentiality.
• Ability to work on-site in Lagos Mainland, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and use digital tools and platforms for client engagement and reporting.
