Job Description
The Media & Marketing Associate will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of Lux Primi’s media, marketing, and communications activities across both Lux Primi Talent and Lux Primi Digital. Working under the direction of the Marketing & Communications Consultant, the role will translate approved strategies and plans into consistent execution across social media, content, PR, website, digital marketing, and reporting. The ideal candidate is organised, digitally savvy, proactive, and able to manage multiple marketing activities while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media & Content Management
• Manage the day-to-day execution of Lux Primi’s social media and content activities across both Talent and Digital, including content planning, creation, scheduling, publishing, community engagement and platform optimisation, while ensuring all output aligns with the approved brand strategy and identity.
Talent, Brand & Campaign Communications
• Support the marketing and communications of represented talent, agency milestones and client campaigns by developing and coordinating relevant content, campaign materials, announcements, case studies and other brand storytelling initiatives across appropriate channels.
PR & Media Support
• Support the execution of Lux Primi’s PR and media activities by researching media opportunities, maintaining media contacts, preparing press materials, supporting pitches and follow-ups, and tracking coverage and mentions for the agency and represented talent.
Website, SEO & Digital Presence
• Manage routine website and digital content updates, including blog and insight publishing, talent and campaign information, and press content, while supporting agreed SEO activities, search monitoring, Google Business Profile management and online reputation monitoring.
Industry & Marketing Research
• Monitor developments across the Nigerian and African marketing, media, creator and influencer landscape, including platform updates, industry trends, competitor activity, events, awards, programmes and relevant partnership opportunities, and provide research and execution support where required.
Reporting & Marketing Operations
• Compile and maintain regular social media, campaign, website, SEO and marketing performance reports, track agreed KPIs and provide relevant observations to support decision-making, while coordinating with internal teams, talent, clients, creatives, vendors and other stakeholders to ensure timely execution of marketing activities.
REQUIREMENTS
• 2–4 years of experience in social media, marketing, communications, media, content or a related role.
• Experience managing social media platforms and executing content calendars.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and X.
• Good understanding of the Nigerian media, creator and influencer ecosystem.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with good storytelling and copywriting instincts.
• Proven ability to execute marketing and communications activities and translate plans into measurable outputs.
• Experience with social media scheduling, content management and analytics tools.
• Comfortable working with performance data and preparing reports.
• Basic understanding of SEO, Google Search Console and website content management is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of execution.
• Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently once direction has been provided.
• Comfortable working with talent, creators, clients, media contacts, creatives, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, Buffer or similar tools is an advantage
