Job Title: Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP)
Location: Headoffice Ibadan, Oyo State
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₦300,000 – ₦500,000 Gross Monthly + Performance Bonus
Job Summary
HRLeverage Africa, the pan-African Workforce Management company is seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to oversee day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, staff discipline, performance documentation and statutory compliance. The role will serve as a key link between the client Group CEO and the Nigeria team, ensuring effective HR practices while supporting the operational goals of the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily HR operations, including attendance, leave administration and employee records.
• Manage employee relations, grievances and disciplinary matters fairly and confidentially.
• Coordinate payroll processing and ensure timely statutory remittances and compliance.
• Manage staff onboarding and maintain complete and up-to-date employee documentation.
• Monitor employee performance and support talent acquisition, retention and talent management initiatives.
• Identify HR risks and provide HR advisory support and recommendations to management.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or a related field.
• Proven years of experience in HR Generalist or HR Business Partner roles, with strong experience in talent acquisition, retention and management.
• Proficiency in Talent Branding, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management & Retention.
• Experience in outsourced or managed HR environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Nigerian Labour Act, Employees’ Compensation Act, Pension Reform Act and NDPR.
• Proficient in HR Information Systems and Microsoft Office.
• CIPM certification is mandatory.
