Job Description
key Requirement:
Vast experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) dynamics in the oil and gas sector.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow strategic clients across the Nigerian energy market, targeting major operators and IOCs including Shell, Chevron, NLNG, Seplat Energy, TotalEnergies, and other oil & gas companies, while building relationships with procurement, supply-chain, contracts, engineering, and project teams.
Identify and pursue RFQs, RFPs, tenders, framework agreements, and procurement opportunities, coordinating technical and commercial submissions and strengthening the company’s pipeline of oil & gas business opportunities.
Lead end-to-end procurement and supply-chain activities for oil & gas clients, coordinating sourcing, supplier negotiations, order management, logistics, and delivery of materials and services in line with client specifications, project schedules, and commercial requirements.
Develope and maintain a network of local and international suppliers, manufacturers, OEMs, and distributors, negotiating competitive pricing, payment terms, lead times, warranties, and delivery conditions to improve margins and procurement efficiency.
Lead supplier and vendor management activities, evaluating supplier capability, pricing, quality, compliance, and delivery performance while proactively mitigating risks associated with long-lead items, material shortages, logistics, foreign exchange, and project delays.
Coordinate procurement and delivery of industrial equipment, mechanical and electrical materials, instrumentation, valves, pumps, PPE, safety equipment, spare parts, consumables, and project materials, ensuring compliance with client specifications and required delivery schedules.
Manage the tender-to-delivery lifecycle, coordinating client requirements, supplier quotations, technical evaluations, commercial negotiations, purchase orders, logistics, inspection, delivery, invoicing, and post-delivery support.
Prepare and review commercial proposals, quotations, bid submissions, procurement reports, account plans, cost analyses, and management reports, providing visibility into sales pipeline, tender status, procurement commitments, and account performance.
Develope strategic account plans to increase revenue from existing customers through cross-selling, repeat orders, long-term supply agreements, and expand product/service offerings, while identifying new opportunities within the Nigerian oil & gas supply chain.
Coordinate with project, finance, logistics, technical, and operations teams to ensure on-time procurement and delivery, resolve commercial and operational issues, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
Support client vendor registration, prequalification, compliance, and onboarding processes, ensuring company documentation and supplier credentials meet applicable client, HSE, quality, Nigerian Content, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify emerging procurement requirements, industry trends, pricing movements, new suppliers, and strategic opportunities for expanding the company’s presence in the oil & gas market.
Represent the company in client meetings, supplier negotiations, commercial discussions, tender clarification meetings, and business-development engagements, strengthening relationships and positioning the company as a reliable procurement and supply-chain partner.
Monitor key commercial and operational KPIs including sales growth, gross margin, tender conversion, procurement savings, order fulfillment, supplier performance, on-time delivery, account retention, and new business acquisition
