Job Description
Business Development Representative (B2B Outbound Sales)

Company: Nicholas Idoko Technologies Limited
Product: BookServices.site
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Nigeria
Work Arrangement: Remote
Industry: Software / SaaS / Business Services

About the Role

Nicholas Idoko Technologies Limited is looking for a Business Development Representative to help grow BookServices.site.

BookServices.site is a platform designed to help service businesses establish a professional online presence and manage important parts of their business through a website and administrative portal.

The primary responsibility of this role is to identify suitable businesses, contact business owners by phone, introduce BookServices.site, explain the value of the platform, follow up with interested prospects, and generate successful customer acquisitions.

This is primarily an outbound business development and sales role.

The successful candidate should be comfortable making calls consistently, speaking with business owners, explaining products clearly, handling objections professionally, and following up with prospects until a decision is reached.

Technical development, website setup, coding, and platform configuration will be handled separately.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify businesses that are a good fit for BookServices.site.

• Make outbound calls to business owners and decision-makers.

• Introduce BookServices.site and clearly explain how the platform can benefit their business.

• Explain the value of having a professional business website and administrative portal.

• Understand the prospect’s current business needs and challenges.

• Qualify businesses based on their needs, interest, and suitability.

• Follow up consistently with interested prospects.

• Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, follow-ups, and outcomes.

• Guide interested businesses through the sales process.

• Generate successful paid customers for BookServices.site.

• Hand successful customers over for technical onboarding and website setup.

• Follow up with prospects who need more time before making a decision.

• Provide regular feedback on common questions, objections, concerns, and requests from prospects.

• Work toward weekly and monthly sales and customer acquisition targets.

What You Will Be Selling

BookServices.site is built for service businesses that want to improve their professional online presence and manage important parts of their operations more efficiently.

Depending on the applicable plan or service, businesses may receive access to features such as:

• A professional business website.

• A business administration portal.

• Service and product management.

• Customer management.

• Invoice management.

• Receipt management.

• Sales tracking.

• Expense tracking.

• Contact form enquiries.

• WhatsApp contact integration.

• Website content management.

• Professional business email options.

• Custom domain setup options.

The Business Development Representative is not responsible for building the websites or handling technical implementation.

The main responsibility is to identify suitable businesses, contact them, generate interest, follow up, and convert suitable prospects into paying customers.

Compensation

This position includes a fixed monthly salary, communication allowance, and performance-based sales commission.

Base Salary: NGN 100,000 per month

Communication Allowance: NGN 20,000 per month

Sales Commission: 10% of every qualifying sale successfully generated by the Business Development Representative.

There is no fixed limit on the amount of sales commission that can be earned.

The 10% commission is calculated based on the actual amount received from the customer.

For example, if a customer pays NGN 50,000 for a qualifying BookServices.site service, the Business Development Representative earns:

10% × NGN 50,000 = NGN 5,000 commission

If NGN 150,000 worth of qualifying sales are generated, the applicable commission would be:

10% × NGN 150,000 = NGN 15,000 commission

The more successful sales generated, the more the Business Development Representative can earn.

Weekly Commission Payment

Sales commissions are paid weekly every Tuesday.

Each Tuesday's commission payment will cover qualifying sales that have been successfully confirmed for the applicable previous commission period.

A sale qualifies for commission when:

• The customer has successfully completed payment.

• The payment can be directly attributed to the Business Development Representative.

• The payment has been successfully received.

• The transaction has not been cancelled, reversed, refunded, or identified as fraudulent.

Where a customer pays in instalments, commission will be calculated based on the amount actually received during the applicable period.

If a transaction is subsequently refunded, reversed, or cancelled after commission has been paid, the applicable commission may be deducted from a future commission payment.

Performance Expectations

Performance will be measured using factors such as:

• Number of businesses contacted.

• Number of completed business-owner conversations.

• Number of qualified prospects generated.

• Number of follow-ups completed.

• Number of successful sales.

• Total sales value generated.

• Customer acquisition performance.

• Quality of prospect records and follow-up notes.

The objective of the role is not simply to make calls.

Applicants should only apply if they are comfortable speaking with multiple business owners every working day.

This is not a software development position.

You will not be required to write code, design websites, or handle technical development.

Your primary focus will be:

Prospecting → Calling → Qualification → Follow-Up → Sales

Technical onboarding, website setup, software configuration, and development will be handled separately.
