Job Summary
• They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager, Programmes & Delivery to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex, multi-stakeholder programmes.
• The role combines hands-on programme execution, project governance, stakeholder management, risk management, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end project planning and delivery, including workplans, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Work closely with technical and programme teams to execute activities and resolve delivery bottlenecks.
• Coordinate corporates, government agencies, donors, NGOs, and delivery partnersaround project objectives and deliverables.
• Manage partner relationships and represent the organisation in stakeholder and client meetings.
• Establish project governance structures, reporting schedules, decision logs, and escalation processes.
• Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and outstanding actions through to resolution.
• Track budgets and resource utilisation, highlighting variances and potential risks.
• Prepare timely progress reports for management, partners, and funders.
• Maintain key project documentation, including MOUs, concept notes, meeting records, action trackers, and decision logs.
• Support and coordinate programme teams to ensure effective execution and accountability.
• Capture lessons learned and relevant knowledge for future programmes.
Requirements & Qualifications
• 7–10 years' experience in project/programme management, preferably within donor-funded, development, multi-stakeholder, or public-private partnership environments.
• Proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple institutional stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience in programme implementation, stakeholder engagement, and delivery troubleshooting.
• Strong project planning, documentation, governance, and risk management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Asana, or similar.
• Knowledge of PMI, PRINCE2, or other recognised project management methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple, interdependent workstreams under pressure.
• Willingness to travel to programme and field locations.
Desirable:
• Experience in health, digital health, telecom-adjacent, or development programmes.
• Exposure to corporate, philanthropic, government, or donor partnerships.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or PMD Procertification.
• Familiarity with Nigeria's public health/regulatory landscape, including NPHCDA, NCC, or BHCPF.
