Project Operations Lead
Location: Lagos (Full-Time)
Salary: ₦350,000 - ₦500,000/month
Xymbolic Development Limited is a fast-growing real estate company building landmark projects across Lagos. We're looking for a hands-on Project Operations Lead to take ownership of execution on our sites, someone who can hold a schedule together, keep contractors honest, and solve problems before they become delays.
If you're the person on-site everyone comes to when something's about to go wrong, this is your role.
Role Description:
Project Execution
• Develop and manage work schedules with contractors, holding them accountable to agreed timelines
• Plan project processes end-to-end, from mobilization to close-out
• Build and manage project budgets, flagging variances early
• Set and track milestones, monitor progress, and escalate risks before they become delays
On-Site Problem-Solving
• Resolve site-level issues in real time to keep projects moving
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure materials and equipment arrive on time and to spec
• Collaborate with project teams to unblock logistical challenges
• Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and site standards
Client & Team Management
• Serve as a key point of contact for client communication on project status
• Lead and coordinate the project team, keeping everyone aligned to plan
Reporting
• Maintain logistics reports covering delivery times, inventory levels, and transportation costs
• Track site vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, and fuel consumption; ensure vehicle documentation and safety compliance
Qualification:
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
• 3-5 years managing construction or real estate development projects, with direct site supervision experience
• Proven ability to manage contractor relationships and hold them to schedule and quality
• Strong budgeting and cost-control experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication, you'll be client-facing
• A track record of solving problems on-site without waiting for permission
