Role Description The Wealth Manager (Sales) is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos. In this position, the individual will identify and acquire new high-net-worth and mass affluent clients, conduct needs assessments, and recommend appropriate investment and financial products across the Alert Group, including asset management and microfinance offerings. The role involves managing client portfolios, providing ongoing advisory support, and ensuring suitable product allocation aligned with clients’ risk profiles and financial objectives.
The Wealth
Manager will prepare and deliver sales presentations, develop tailored proposals, and maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities also include collaborating with internal teams, monitoring market trends, meeting sales and revenue targets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal risk guidelines.
Qualifications
• Strong client relationship management, consultative selling, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, portfolio management concepts, and basic investment products.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse client segments.
• Ability to work with sales targets, manage pipelines, and use CRM or sales-tracking tools effectively.
• Relevant experience in wealth management, asset management, banking, or financial services sales.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CIS, CFA level(s), or similar) are an advantage.
• Solid understanding of Nigerian financial markets, regulatory environment, and SEC/CBN guidelines.
• High ethical standards, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
