About the Company: Our client isa leading securities register and data management provider in the NigerianCapital Market.

The Company is seeking tohire an Investment Banking Associate who will play a key role in originating,evaluating, structuring, and executing corporate finance and investment bankingtransactions. The successful candidate will support mergers and acquisitions(M&A), capital raising, private equity, debt financing, financial advisory,and strategic investment activities for clients and the firm's investmentportfolio.

The role requires strongfinancial analysis capabilities, transaction execution experience, marketresearch skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-pacedenvironment.

Key Responsibilities:

FinancialAnalysis and Valuation

• Develop and maintaindetailed financial models for valuation, forecasting, scenario analysis, andinvestment appraisal.

• Conduct company valuationsusing methodologies such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Comparable CompanyAnalysis, and Precedent Transactions.

• Analyse financialstatements, industry trends, market dynamics, and investment opportunities.

• Prepare investmentrecommendations supported by robust financial and commercial analysis.

Portfolioand Investment Monitoring

• Support ongoing monitoringof portfolio companies and investments.

• Review periodic financialand operational performance reports.

• Assist in developingvalue-creation initiatives and strategic recommendations for portfoliocompanies.

TransactionExecution

• Support the execution ofmergers and acquisitions, divestitures, capital raising, restructuring, andother corporate finance transactions.

• Coordinate due diligenceprocesses, including financial, legal, commercial, and operational reviews.

• Assist in the preparationand review of transaction documentation, including Information Memoranda,Teasers, Pitch Books, Financial Models, and Investment Committee Papers.

• Liaise with clients,regulators, legal advisers, auditors, and other stakeholders throughouttransaction lifecycles.

BusinessDevelopment and Client Coverage

• Support senior bankers inidentifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

• Assist in preparing clientpresentations, proposals, and marketing materials.

• Participate in clientmeetings and contribute to relationship management efforts.

• Monitor marketdevelopments and identify potential transaction opportunities.

Researchand Market Intelligence

• Conduct sector-specificand macroeconomic research relevant to investment opportunities and clientmandates.

• Track developments withinthe Nigerian and African capital markets.

• Prepare industry reports,market updates, and investment insights for internal and external stakeholders.

Complianceand Risk Management

• Ensure compliance withinternal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

• Support transaction riskassessments and investment due diligence processes.

• Maintain accuratedocumentation and records for all transactions and client engagements.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance,Economics or a related field from a highly reputable academic institution.Class of degree – First Class or Second Class Upper (2.1) is a must have.

• Master's degree (MBA, MSc Finance, or relateddiscipline) is an advantage.

• 6 years of relevantexperience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity,transaction advisory, consulting, or investment management.

• Demonstrated experience infinancial modelling, valuation, and transaction execution.

• Experience within theNigerian financial services sector is preferred.

• Advanced financialmodelling and valuation skills.

• Strong analytical andquantitative capabilities.

• Proficiency in MicrosoftExcel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.

• Knowledge of capitalmarkets, corporate finance, and investment products.

• Strong communication andpresentation skills.

• Excellent report-writingand documentation abilities.

• High attention to detailand accuracy.

• Strong project managementand organisational skills.

• Ability to workindependently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

• Strong stakeholdermanagement and relationship-building skills.
