Co-Founder / Head of Marketing & Community
Startup: Social Dating + Engagement Platform [Stealth/Early Stage]

About Us
We are a 3-person early-stage startup building a new social media platform that combines dating + real engagement.
Team:
1. Founder - Product & Vision
2. Ese - Frontend Developer
3. Ope - Backend Developer
We are looking for 1-2 passionate people to complete our founding team.
The Role
We need a Marketing & Community Lead who will own how the world sees us and how we build our first 1000 true fans.
This is not just a "social media manager" role. This is a co-founder role with ownership, vision, and shared responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand & Presence: Define and build our brand voice across Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and Threads. Make people excited about the product before launch.
2. Community Building: Create and manage a secure community of trusted beta testers. Get feedback, build hype, and turn testers into ambassadors.
3. Go-to-Market: Plan and execute pre-launch, launch, and post-launch marketing strategies. Growth hacks, partnerships, influencer outreach, content.
4. User Insights: Talk to users. Understand what makes people stay, date, and engage. Bring that back to the product team.
5. Fundraising Support: Help with pitch decks, investor storytelling, and showing traction to potential investors/partners.
6. Team Player: Share in collective responsibilities - funding contributions when needed, skills, and the startup grind.
Who You Are
1. Builder Mindset: You’ve grown a community, brand, or product from 0 to 1 before. Startup experience is a plus.
2. Storyteller: You know how to make people care. Great copywriting and content creation skills.
3. Community First: You understand Gen Z/Millennial dating culture in Nigeria/Africa and online safety/trust.
4. Hands-on: You can design a post, run ads, host a Twitter Space, and DM 100 testers in a week.
5. Aligned: You believe in building ethical, safe, and engaging social products. You want equity and ownership, not just a salary.
6. Bonus: Experience with dating apps, social platforms, or creator marketing.
