Discover moreSalary comparison toolLabor & Employment LawEmployment website subscriptionJob SummaryWe are seeking a hands-on Head, Maintenance to lead maintenance operations across Stockgap’s downstream Oil & Gas facilities and nationwide LPG cylinder distribution network.
You will ensure all plants, equipment, and facilities are maintained to the highest safety and efficiency standards, minimize downtime, control costs, and drive continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead reactive and proactive maintenance of LPG filling plants, bulk storage, loading gantries, cylinder recertification lines, and depot facilities nationwide.
Develop and implement Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules to reduce unplanned downtime
Manage maintenance budget, spare parts inventory, and vendor/contractor relationships
Ensure full compliance with DPR, SON, HSSE, ISO 14001 & 45001 standards
Oversee installation and commissioning of new plant, equipment and machinery
Manage, coach and develop a high-performing multi-site maintenance team
Drive cost optimization, lean practices, and business improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate records, CMMS data, and report on maintenance KPIsQulifications & ExperienceEducation: B.Eng. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Facilities Management. Professional Level 5/NVQ 5 certification required. MBA/MSc is an advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 12 years maintenance experience in Oil & Gas Downstream, with exposure to LPG plants, terminals, or cylinder operations
Skills: Strong technical capability, P&L and budget management, knowledge of ISO, APQP, Lean. Proficiency in CMMS & MS Office
