Job Description
Our client is a leading multinational Mechanical and Electrical contracting company and they are looking for a Project Planner to join their team.

The ideal candidate will determine project scope, create work schedules and estimate the resources and costs to deliver the projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Developing & tracking POW and schedules.

• Develop and maintain risk register.

• Developing comprehensive and detailed procurement plan based on the project schedules.

• Preparing a project resource delivery plan (material and equipment) in‐line with the project schedule.

• Organizing, documenting and tracking action points in Periodic Project Meetings with all stakeholders in attendance.

• Supporting the execution team through ensuring that actual work progress closely reflects the planned progress.

• Periodic communication of the project performance/progress report to the client as required.

• Analysis of work schedule to ascertain change/delay impact on the timeline and developing mitigation strategy against the delay effect on the timeline.

• Contributing to the development of Project Management Office (PMO) through refining the existing workflows.

• Maintain Program Trackers, such as those for Action Items, as requested by the program managers.

• Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree, preferably in engineering, or Quantity survey with professional experience supported with applicable certification.

• Proven experience in project planning (1–2 years’ Experience).

• Effective leadership skills.

• Effective interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

• Good organizational and multitasking skills.

• Excellent time management skills.

• Good project management skills.

• MS Project with years of experience in project execution.

• Good knowledge of scheduling computer tools (i.e. Primavera, Microsoft Project).

• Good knowledge of MEP work processes and sequences.

• Ability to identify deviations from standards.
