About Residency Hotel
• We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accountant to join our Finance team and support the financial operations of our hotel.
Job Summary • The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing financial insights that support business growth across our hotel operations.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll support.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure effective financial control measures.
• Conduct inventory audits and reconcile inventory records with operational departments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Support budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and statutory filings.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Assist management in making informed financial decisions through timely reporting and analysis.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is an added advantage.
Location Preference:
• Preferably within close proximity to Independence Layout, Enugu for easy commuting.
