Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resources Manager, located in Owerri.
The Human Resources
Manager will oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Responsibilities include onboarding new hires, managing employee records, developing employee training programs, implementing HR strategies, handling workplace conflict resolution, and fostering a positive work culture. The ideal candidate will bring strategic leadership to optimise workforce development and organisational success.
Qualifications
• Excellent knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and training
• Strong understanding of employment laws, compliance, and workplace regulations
• Proficiency in employee relations, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive organisational culture
• Exceptional planning, organisational, and leadership skills
• Effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and collaborative abilities
• Experience in using HR software and tools for employee management
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Previous experience in agriculture or food processing industries is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, on-site working environment
