Human Resources Manager
This is a strategic leadership position for an accomplished HR professional who possesses the ability to build high-performing teams, establish disciplined systems, improve productivity and develop a performance-driven organisational culture.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Deputy Managing Director (DMD), the Human Resources Manager will provide strategic leadership for the Company's Human Resources and Administration functions.
The successful candidate will lead initiatives that improve employee productivity, strengthen organisational discipline, enhance staff engagement, support operational excellence and ensure full compliance with labour legislation and corporate governance requirements.
The role extends beyond traditional HR management and requires a leader capable of transforming people into a sustainable competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities The Human Resources Manager shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Human Resources Strategy
• Develop and implement the Company's Human Resources strategy.
• Align HR initiatives with corporate objectives.
• Review and continuously improve HR policies and procedures.
• Develop workforce planning strategies.
• Lead organisational restructuring where necessary.
• Develop succession plans for key positions.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical, professional and management positions including:
• Workforce planning
• Talent sourcing
• Candidate assessment
• Interview coordination
• Competency-based recruitment
• Executive recruitment support
• Graduate trainee programmes
• Internship programmes
Talent Development
Develop systems that significantly improve employee capability by:
• Identifying competency gaps
• Preparing annual training plans
• Organising internal and external training
• Leadership development
• Career development programmes
• Succession planning
• Graduate development programmes
Performance Management
Develop and administer a robust performance management system including:
• KPIs
• Performance contracts
• Annual appraisal
• Quarterly reviews
• Productivity measurement
• Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
Drive a culture where performance is objectively measured and rewarded.
Payroll Administration
Oversee payroll preparation and administration including:
• Monthly payroll
• Salary reviews
• Overtime
• Allowances
• Bonus administration
• Pension and other statutory deductions
Ensure payroll accuracy, confidentiality and timeliness.
Compensation & Benefits
• Develop competitive remuneration structures.
• Review salary competitiveness.
• Recommend reward strategies.
• Administer employee benefits.
• Coordinate performance bonuses.
• Benchmark salaries with industry standards.
Employee Relations
Provide leadership in
