Company Description Join a Leading Dredging & Land Reclamation Project in Lagos

Are you an experienced professional in the dredging, marine, or land reclamation industry? We are recruiting highly skilled and results-driven professionals to join a major Land Reclamation and Dredging Project in Lagos, Nigeria.

Role Description The Project Manager (Land Reclamation/Dredging) will oversee end-to-end planning, execution, and completion of land reclamation and dredging projects on-site in Nigeria. This full-time role includes managing project timelines, budgets, and resources; coordinating contractors, suppliers, and internal teams; and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. The individual will supervise site activities, monitor progress, conduct inspections, and resolve project-related issues to keep work on track.

Day-to-day responsibilities also involve managing logistics for materials and equipment, expediting critical orders, preparing reports and documentation, and communicating clearly with stakeholders to provide regular project updates.

Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years relevant experience managing land reclamation and dredging projects.

Demonstrate ability to coordinate and supervise both expatriate and local personnel.

Proven track record of achieving production targets, managing project execution and overseeing site operations.

Candidates should possess expediting-related skills, such as working as an Expeditor and managing Expediting activities for materials, equipment, and services.

Candidates should possess Inspection skills, including conducting site inspections, quality checks, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills, including planning and coordinating transport, storage, and delivery of project materials and equipment.

Relevant academic background in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.

Demonstrated experience managing on-site projects in Nigeria or similar environments, with strong stakeholder and contractor management capabilities.

Proficiency in project planning tools, documentation, and reporting, with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to lead diverse teams, make timely decisions under pressure, and uphold high standards of health, safety, and environmental performance.

Qualification

Candidates with previous experience operating or maintaining IHC-manufactured Cutter Suction Dredgers (CSDs) will be given priority consideration.
