About The Role
Our client, a reputable healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead its HR function and support the achievement of organizational objectives through effective people management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, managing the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with labour regulations, driving employee engagement, and fostering a high-performance culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Management
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and systems.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian Labour Laws and HR best practices.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
• Lead end-to-end recruitment and selection processes.
• Coordinate onboarding, confirmation, promotion, transfer, and exit processes.
• Develop workforce planning strategies to meet organizational staffing needs.
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline.

Performance Management
• Design and implement performance management systems and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Coordinate performance appraisal exercises.
• Support managers in setting performance objectives and development plans.
Monitor employee productivity and recommend improvement initiatives.

Employee Relations
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
• Promote employee engagement and workplace wellness initiatives.
Provide HR guidance and support to management and employees.
•
Learning & Development
• Identify training needs across the organization.
• Coordinate staff training, leadership development, and succession planning initiatives.
Monitor the effectiveness of learning and development programmes.

HR Compliance & Administration
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and management dashboards.
• Support payroll administration and employee benefits management.
Participate in organizational development and change management initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3–5 years' progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience within the healthcare sector is an added advantage.
• Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, PHRi, or an equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law and HR best practices.
• Experience designing and implementing HR policies, systems, and performance management frameworks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
