Job Summary • A successful and reputable energy company headquartered in Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria, is seeking to appoint an experienced and strategic Senior Human Resource Manager to lead its human capital function.
Key Responsibilities • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support business growth, workforce excellence, employee engagement, regulatory compliance, and a high-performance culture.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes and ensure timely fulfillment of manpower requirements.
• Partner with business leaders to forecast workforce needs and develop talent pipelines.
Performance & Talent Management:
• Drive a performance-focused culture across the organization.
• Support managers and employees in effective performance management practices.
• Partner with Finance to manage payroll reporting, reconciliation, and compliance.
• Conduct market reviews to ensure competitive remuneration structures.
• Monitor HR risks and promote effective governance practices.
• Prepare HR analytics, workforce reports, and insights to support business decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related discipline.
• A Master’s degree or relevant professional qualification will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 15 years post-NYSC experience in Human Resources Management.
• At least 10 years’ experience in a senior HR management role, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Energy, or related industries.
