Job Description
The Managing Director will provide strategic leadership and overall direction for the firm’s asset management operations. This role involves driving business growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing investment strategies, and fostering strong relationships with clients, regulators, and stakeholders. The MD will represent the firm as an SEC sponsored individual and lead the development of innovative financial products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute the company’s vision, mission, and long-term strategy.

- Identify new business opportunities and drive market expansion.

- Investment & Portfolio Management:

- Oversee asset allocation, portfolio performance, and risk management.

- Implement investment strategies to maximize returns for clients.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure full compliance with SEC regulations and corporate governance standards. o Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations.

Business Development:

- Build and maintain relationships with investors, clients, and key stakeholders.

- Drive client acquisition and retention strategies.

Operational Excellence:

- Lead and mentor senior management and investment teams.

- Foster a culture of innovation, integrity, and performance.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA or Master’s degree (preferred).

Must be an SEC-sponsored individual approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in asset management, investment banking, or related financial services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian capital markets and compliance frameworks.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
