Role Description

Sample Chief is seeking a high-calibre Head of Partnerships to spearhead strategic alliances that fuel the company's commercial and cultural ambitions. This is a senior leadership role for a commercially driven connector who thrives at the intersection of audio, entertainment, FMCG, alcohol, media, and live events.

You will own the full partnership lifecycle from prospecting and pitching to closing, activation, and long-term relationship management while building a pipeline of brand, media, and event partnerships that deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Strategy & Business Development

• Develop and execute a comprehensive partnerships strategy aligned to Sample Chief's commercial and brand objectives.

• Identify, pursue, and secure high-value partnerships across media outlets, event organizers, entertainment brands, FMCG companies, and alcohol labels.

• Lead end-to-end deal negotiation, from initial outreach through term sheets, contracts, and activation planning.

• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective partners, leveraging both inbound interest and proactive outbound targeting.

Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary relationship owner for all strategic partners — existing and new.

• Nurture and deepen existing partnerships to drive renewals, upsells, and expanded activations.

• Represent Sample Chief at industry events, networking forums, and high-level stakeholder engagements.

• Leverage and grow a personal industry network across entertainment, audio, media, FMCG, and alcohol sectors.

Media & Event Operations Partnerships

• Identify and lock in dedicated partnerships for media production, content distribution, and event operations.

• Collaborate with internal creative and operations teams to ensure partner deliverables are met and activations run seamlessly.

• Develop co-branded opportunities and sponsorship packages for events, digital content, and experiential activations.

Commercial Performance & Reporting

• Set, track, and report on partnership KPIs, including revenue contribution, audience reach, and brand impact metrics.

• Manage partnership budgets and ensure strong ROI across all alliance investments.

• Present regular partnership updates to senior leadership with clear insights and forward-looking recommendations.

Essential

• 4+ years of progressive experience in sales, business development, marketing, or partnerships with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is beneficial

• Deep commercial knowledge of two or more of the following industries: entertainment, FMCG, alcohol/spirits, media, or live events.

• Strong Analytical Skills to assess market trends and partnership opportunities

• Demonstrable track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder partnership deals.

• Strong existing network across brand marketers, media buyers, event producers, and industry decision-makers.

• Outstanding negotiation, presentation, and written communication skills.

• Commercially minded with the ability to build business cases and manage P&L for partnerships.

Preferred

• Experience working with or within alcohol/spirits brands, audio, major entertainment labels, or media houses.

• Established relationships with key players in global entertainment ecosystems.

• Experience structuring and activating event sponsorships and media operations deals.

• Familiarity with brand partnership legal frameworks and contract management.
