Position: Managing Director (Core Banking & Fintech Solutions) - Lagos
We are seeking a visionary, commercial driven Managing Director to lead Netfusion Ideal & Innovations Solutions Ltd., a premier core banking application provider. As the Managing Director, you will be responsible for steering the entire company operations, executing aggressive market expansion strategies, and fostering high-value institutional relationships. This critical role requires a unique blend of strategic executive leadership and a proven, hands-on track record in B2B enterprise software selling.
You will work to scale our core banking platform, define long-term organizational goals, build key C-suite customer relationships within the financial sector, and successfully negotiate and close high-ticket software deals. Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Managing Director (Core Banking & Fintech Solutions) at NETFUSION Ideal and Innovations Solutions Ltd.
The Managing
Director will lead the overall strategy, growth, and performance of the NETFUSION core banking and fintech solutions portfolio, with a focus on microfinance and broader financial institutions. Daily responsibilities include defining and executing go-to-market plans, expanding market presence, and managing key client relationships across existing and prospective institutions. The role will oversee product roadmap alignment with regulatory requirements, customer needs, and emerging fintech trends, working closely with product, technology, implementation, and support teams.
The Managing
Director will also be accountable for financial targets, building and mentoring high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and representing the company with regulators, partners, and strategic stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Proven leadership experience in financial services, core banking, or fintech, with responsibility for strategy, P&L, and business growth.
• Strong background in core banking, digital channels, and payments, ideally with exposure to microfinance or similar regulated institutions.
• Experience overseeing product development and delivery, including product roadmap planning, regulatory alignment, and stakeholder prioritization.
• Demonstrated skills in client relationship management, enterprise sales, and strategic partnerships with financial institutions and technology partners.
• Solid understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and reporting standards relevant to core banking platforms.
• Ability to lead distributed, cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and drive accountability in a remote-first environment.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and decision-making skills to manage budgets, pricing, and investment cases.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, comfortable engaging with executive and board-level stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
• Experience working in African or emerging markets fintech ecosystems, particularly Nigeria, is highly beneficial.
