The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales and marketing officer who will be able to drive business growth by developing and executing strategies to increase brand awareness and sales, generate leads, grow market share and meet sales targets. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and execution.
This candidate will be able to manage customer relationship for retention, repurchases and referral generation. He/she will have strong communication skills and have a positive track record of exceeding targets.
Minimum Job requirements:
· Education/Certifications: BSc in Marketing, Business or any related discipline with a minimum of Second class Lower (2:2).
· Experience: Proven experience in sales and marketing roles, with a track record of achieving targets. At least 3 - 5 years’ work experience.

• Understanding of sales process
• Experience in account management
• Understanding of marketing tactics, CRM software, and current market trends.
• Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of operating standard office equipment.

· Good writing skills for drafting cover letters and emails

Key Responsibilities:
· Strategy Development: Planning and implementing new sales and marketing strategies to achieve company goals
· Lead Generation & Sales: Identifying target markets, generating leads, and converting prospects into sales. Follow up on inquiries, and qualify prospects through outbound calls, emails, networking events, and social media outreach.
· B2B Market Development: Drive revenue by planning and executing strategies to attract corporate, government, leisure clients etc. and close deals as well as grow your portfolio.
· Market Research: Analyzing market trends, consumer requirements, and competitor strategies to identify new opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale with clients, preparing proposals, quotes, and sales agreements in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
· Recruit and manage sales outs, affiliates, freelancers and subagent portfolios to increase sales generation, revenue and profit margin.
• Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and pitches to prospective clients, highlighting key features, benefits, and value propositions.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to generate leads, drive traffic, and increase sales conversions across various channels.
· Build and maintain client relationships, handle queries, and gather feedback.
· Analyze trends, sales and marketing metrics, competitor activities, and customer behavior to find new opportunities and improve performance.
· Create content, manage social media, and coordinate with media/marketing agencies.
· Create awareness of and develop the brand through advertising, direct marketing and campaigns
· Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing materials, including brochures, flyers,
· Develop and ensure indirect online sales through 3rd party e-commerce platform Eg. Vconnect, Jiji etc.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including product development, operations, and customer service, to ensure alignment of sales and marketing activities with business objectives.
• Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company, build relationships, and explore partnership opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sales and marketing and product offers
• Provide feedback to management on market trends, competitive activities, and customer preferences to inform product development, pricing strategies, and sales forecasts.
• Suggest innovative ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience
Pay: ₦150,000.00 - ₦200,000.00 per month
