ABOUT THE ROLE The Head, Corporate & Commercial Treasury Sales is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the growth of the Bank’s treasury market share, non-interest revenue (NIR), and deposit liabilities across Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional banking segments.
The role involves leading a high-performing team of treasury sales professionals to deliver tailored foreign exchange (FX), fixed income, cash management, and derivative solutions, while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, liquidity policies, and internal risk frameworks.

JOB OBJECTIVE To build and institutionalize a high-performance, risk-aware treasury sales culture that positions the Bank as the preferred financial markets partner for Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional clients.

The role is primarily responsible for driving sustainable growth in non-interest revenue (NIR) and optimizing the Bank’s liability base through the design and distribution of FX, fixed income, and derivative solutions.

It also serves as a critical First Line of Defense (1st LOD) in safeguarding the Bank’s balance sheet against liquidity, market, and compliance risks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Growth & Revenue Generation

• Drive the execution of the corporate treasury sales strategy to achieve and exceed FX, fixed income, and structured product revenue targets.

• Partner with Corporate Banking Relationship Managers to cross-sell treasury solutions including forwards, swaps, options, and structured trade finance products.

• Manage and deepen relationships with key corporate, commercial, and institutional clients to increase wallet share and revenue contribution.

2. Liquidity & Liability Management

• Lead deposit mobilization initiatives to secure stable, low-cost corporate funding and optimize cost of funds (CoF).

• Monitor macroeconomic trends, interest rate movements, and regulatory developments to inform client strategy and portfolio positioning.

• Provide proactive market insights and advisory support to clients to enhance engagement and retention.

3. Team Leadership & Capability Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing treasury sales team.

• Drive a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.

• Ensure effective execution of sales targets through performance management and coaching.

4. Risk & Compliance Management

• Ensure strict adherence to internal risk policies, liquidity guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

• Act as a First Line of Defense (1st LOD) in identifying and mitigating market, liquidity, and operational risks.

• Maintain robust governance standards in all treasury sales activities.
