StarTimes Nigeria is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand its Solar Home System (SHS) business across the Abuja Zone. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing regional sales operations, supervising field teams, and developing strategic partnerships to increase market penetration.

Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager will oversee all SHS sales activities within the assigned region, ensuring achievement of revenue targets, dealer expansion, customer acquisition, and effective team management. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on field sales experience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement regional sales strategies for Solar Home Systems.

Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate Area Sales Managers, Team Leaders, and Sales Representatives.

Expand dealer and agent network across the assigned region.

Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets.

Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

Ensure proper inventory management and product availability.

Prepare periodic sales reports and performance analysis.

Conduct regular market visits and field assessments.

Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key stakeholders.

Ensure excellent customer service and after-sales support.

Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to improve market visibility and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years proven experience in sales management, preferably in solar, telecom, FMCG, or consumer electronics industry.

Strong understanding of Solar Home System products and market dynamics.

Experience managing large sales teams across multiple locations.

Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategic action plans.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools.

Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive targets.

Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.

Knowledge of Abuja and Northern regional markets.
