Job Summary
Passron Enterprises Limited is seeking a highly intelligent, detail-oriented, and fast-learning Accounting Assistant to support the Finance & Accounts function. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong academic excellence, analytical ability, and a strong willingness to learn and grow within a structured finance environment.
This role is designed for a high-potential individual who can be developed into a strong finance professional over time.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Assist in processing invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions.
• Perform daily posting of financial entries and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist in bank reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies.
• Maintain proper filing systems for financial records and audit documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in tracking expenses, budgets, and financial performance data.
• Work closely with senior finance staff to ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and controls.
• Provide general support to the Finance team as may be required.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1); First Class is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience
• Strong academic performance with proven analytical ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a structured environment.
