Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate interior furniture projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of project management software, and a deep understanding of project scheduling and site management. This role requires a proactive approach to project coordination, excellent time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.

Duties
• Lead and manage projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety protocols
• Oversee project planning using project management tools
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and vendors to facilitate smooth operations
• Review design blueprints to ensure project specifications are met
• Monitor progress on production and installation sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality expectations
• Manage project documentation including schedules, change orders, and progress reports
• Conduct site inspections and resolve issues related to furniture installations
• Implement effective time management strategies across teams to meet project deadlines
• Foster strong communication channels among all stakeholders for seamless project delivery

Experience
• Proven experience in project management or related roles with a focus on project coordination and site supervision
• Demonstrated expertise in project scheduling
• Prior experience managing large-scale interior furniture projects on-site with a focus on safety and quality control
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Effective leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse teams in fast-paced environments
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• Professional certifications are an added advantage but not mandatory
• Proven experience managing large-scale, high-value projects from concept through to completion
• High attention to detail and quality control standards
• Proactive problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers, architects and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong on-site supervision and project coordination capability required.

Work Hours: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 6:00pm), Saturday (8:00am - 2:00pm)

Pay: From ₦250,000.00 per month
