Job Summary
A leading consulting firm is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to manage all HR activities on a dedicated client project. The role involves overseeing outsourced employee lifecycle processes, ensuring compliance with VISL HR policies and Airtel Nigeria standards, and addressing employee-related issues. The ideal candidate will also collaborate with the HR Executive/Manager to implement HR initiatives and drive continuous improvement, while demonstrating strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Working with the Client Service Manager and/or HR Executive/Manager to strategically plan HR initiatives that will benefit the Airtel Ng project and encourage more efficient and beneficial work from employees.
• Direct all hiring and training procedures for new employees.
• Coordinate the documentation and onboarding of new hires and ensure that the Staff database is updated at all times.
• Continually educate employees on VISL and/or the Airtel Ng policies and keep employee handbooks up to date.
• Administer or change, health plans, pension, employee compensation etc.
• Monitor employee progress and stay abreast on VISL and/or the Airtel Ng climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive.
• Foster cross-functional relationships and ensure managers from Airtel Ng and VISL employees are properly connected.
• Regularly meet with employees for progress reviews and assessments, discussing any welfare problems or grievances they may have.
• Promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues.
• Understand and adhere to all pertinent Nigerian labour laws.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or related field.
• At least 1 year of management experience in HR.
• Highly computer literate in Microsoft Suite (especially Excel) and various HR software programs including HRIS
• A proven leader with strong interpersonal skills, keen to motivate and effectively educate and connect department managers and employees regarding all HR matters

Pay: ₦150,000.00 - ₦350,000.00 per month
