Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartered Accountant based in Benin City.
The Chartered
Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The candidate will assist in budgeting, financial planning, tax preparation, and financial analysis to support strategic decisions. They will also work closely with management to provide insights and recommendations for financial efficiency.
Qualifications
• Accounting and Financial Management expertise, including financial reporting, budgeting, and audits
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in financial software and tools
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members
• Experience in nonprofit financial management is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification such as ACCA or ICAN with 3 - 5 years work experience
