Digital Marketing Manager

3. JOB SUMMARY The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, managing, and optimizing all digital marketing activities across AKAM Nature Care and TRIONLIFE.
This role oversees the Media Buyers, sales funnel specialist and Social Media Managers, manages all digital leads generated, designs and executes email campaigns, SMS, WhatsApp, and AI-based follow-up automation, and ensures lead conversion into sales.
The Digital Marketing Manager acts as the bridge between advertising, lead generation, and sales, ensuring no lead is wasted and all digital marketing efforts deliver measurable ROI.
This role requires strong leadership, data-driven thinking, automation skills, follow-up discipline, and conversion-focused execution.
4. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESA. Digital Marketing Strategy & Oversight
• Develop and execute digital marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
• Oversee all digital marketing activities across:
• Paid advertising
• Lead generation
• Email/SMS/WhatsApp campaigns and follow-ups
• Funnel and conversion optimization
• Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all digital platforms.
• Report all digital performance to the Head of Sales & Marketing.
B. Media Buyer Management & Control
• Supervise all Media Buyers.
• Set clear targets for:
• Cost per lead (CPL)
• Daily/weekly/monthly lead volume
• Conversion expectations
• Ensure Media Buyers do not exceed approved budgets.
• Monitor ad performance daily.
• Approve, pause, scale, or stop campaigns based on data.
• Ensure all leads are properly tracked and delivered.
C. Lead Management & Follow-Up Automation
• Take full responsibility for ALL leads generated.
• Design and manage:
• Email automation sequences
• SMS follow-up campaigns
• WhatsApp automation (manual or AI-based)
• Ensure follow-ups are sent:
• Daily or
• 3x weekly (as strategy demands)
• Embed strong call-to-action (CTA) in all follow-ups.
• Include sales team contact details in all campaigns.
• Ensure leads are nurtured until they take action or opt out.
D. Email, SMS & CRM Management
• Build and manage email lists.
• Segment leads based on:
• Interest
• Product
• Funnel stage
• Write or approve:
• Email copies
• SMS copies
• Whatsapp Broadcast messages
• Track open rates, click rates, response rates.
• Maintain clean and updated CRM or lead database.
E. Social Media Manager Supervision
• Supervise Social Media Managers.
• Ensure daily posting consistency.
• Ensure comments and DMs are responded to promptly.
• Align social content with paid ads and campaigns.
• Review analytics and growth performance weekly.
F. Reporting & Performance Analysis
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering:
• Leads generated
• Cost per lead
• Conversion rate
• Follow-up performance
• Media Buyer performance
• Submit reports to the Head of Sales & Marketing.
• Recommend improvements based on data.
G. Collaboration & Internal Communication
• Work closely with:
• Sales team
• Customer care
• Admin department
• Ensure leads are escalated correctly.
• Ensure sales reps receive hot leads on time.
5. REQUIREMENTSA. Educational Qualification
• Minimum of HND / B.Sc in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or related field.
• Digital Marketing certifications are an added advantage.
B. Work Experience
• 3–6 years experience in Digital Marketing.
• Proven experience managing:
• Media buyers
• Email marketing
• Lead generation funnels
• Experience working with performance-based marketing teams.
