Our client requires a seasoned Offshore Well Operations Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of well construction and intervention operations in the vicinity of Akure, Ondo, NG . This leadership role is critical for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of drilling, completion, and workover campaigns. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive operational plans, setting performance targets, and managing resources, including personnel, equipment, and budgets. A thorough understanding of drilling engineering principles, well control procedures, and subsea operations is essential. You will lead and mentor rig site personnel, fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring strict adherence to all company policies and regulatory requirements. Risk assessment and management are paramount, requiring you to identify potential hazards and implement robust mitigation strategies. This role involves close coordination with subsurface teams (geologists, reservoir engineers), surface facility teams, and external service providers to ensure seamless project execution. You will monitor operational performance, analyze key metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce non-productive time. Responsibilities also include managing contractual agreements with vendors and suppliers, ensuring compliance and value. Regular reporting to senior management on operational status, performance, and HSE matters is required.
