Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.
• Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring timely hiring of qualified candidates.
• Support current and future business needs through workforce planning and talent management.
• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
• Oversee compensation plan and benefits program in line with company policy.
• Ensure legal compliance with labor laws and HR best practices.
• Monitor and report on HR metrics e.g., turnover rates, absenteeism.
• Drive performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback systems.
• Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and productivity.
• Manage employee insurance programs including GLI, NSITF, and HMO schemes, ensuring compliance and timely administration.
• Oversee statutory contributions and compliance with the Industrial Training Fund ITF, Pension schemes, and Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board NCDMB requirements.
• ISO internal audit process control.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Professional HR certification e.g., CIPM, SHRM, CIPD is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite mandatory
