Job Summary
• We are seeking a qualified and experienced Hotel Accountant to manage the financial operations of our hotel.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing payroll, conducting audits, and ensuring effective cost control to support profitability.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate staff payments
• Monitor and control hotel expenses through effective cost accounting practices
• Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
• Prepare budgets and financial forecasts
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
• Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to management
• Supervise inventory control and cost tracking for hotel operations
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc) in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of payroll management, auditing, and cost accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Must not be more than 45 years of age.
