• *ABOUT THE ROLE**

In this role, you will work closely with clients and the senior accounting team to handle bookkeeping, accounting, and US tax preparation tasks. You will leverage cutting-edge tools — including QuickBooks Online and TaxDome — to deliver accurate, timely, and exceptional financial services. This is a hands-on role with real growth potential in a forward-thinking firm.
• *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

– Perform accurate bookkeeping and accounting tasks using QuickBooks Online and other systems
– Prepare US personal and business tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws

– Collaborate with clients to gather financial information and provide relevant insights

– Leverage technology to optimize workflows and increase efficiency across client engagements

– Stay current with US tax regulations, accounting standards, and best practices

– Proactively identify and resolve issues, and contribute to process improvement initiatives

– Support the Senior Accountant with reviews, workpapers, and client deliverable preparation

– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Financial Cents and other firm systems

• *QUALIFICATIONS**

– Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
– Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

– Experience with QuickBooks Online is a plus; willingness to learn required

– Familiarity with the US tax system preferred — a strong desire to learn is essential

– Experience with Financial Cents or similar practice management platforms is an advantage

– Strong attention to detail and high standards for accuracy

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
