The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse to join our dynamic team in Lagos. This hybrid position starts with 3 months fully onsite in our Lagos facility for intensive training and seamless team integration, then transitions to a flexible hybrid model.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality mental health care while receiving specialized training from experienced US doctors and senior clinicians. We will train you in advanced psychiatric nursing practices, integrated care, and modern mental health protocols.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide compassionate psychiatric nursing care to patients with mental health conditions
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor symptoms, and support treatment plans
• Administer medications and educate patients and families on mental health management
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and the multidisciplinary team
• Support telehealth consultations and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Promote patient safety, recovery, and holistic well-being
• Participate actively in training programs and continuous professional development

Requirements:
• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) license
• Strong interest in mental health and psychiatric nursing
• Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
• Highly IT-savvy comfortable learning and using digital health platforms (full training provided)
• Well-rounded individuals with strong problem-solving abilities, reliability, and a proactive attitude
• Integrity and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care
What Sets You Apart (Highly Desired):
• Previous experience in psychiatric, mental health, or general nursing
• Fresh graduates and early-career nurses with strong academic records are strongly encouraged to apply
• Passion for learning and growing in the mental health field
Medical or mental health background is preferred but not required — we value potential and dedication.
