• *Role Description**
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced Chartered Accountant located in Lagos.
The Chartered
Accountant will oversee financial activities, including preparing detailed financial statements, managing taxation matters, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role involves providing strategic insights for financial decision-making, developing budgets, analyzing financial data, and implementing internal control processes to optimize organizational performance.
• *Qualifications**
• Proficiency in financial reporting, auditing, and financial statement preparation
• In-depth knowledge of taxation laws, budget creation, and financial forecasting
• Expertise in accounting software and tools, as well as general ledger management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to interact with clients and stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively
• Professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA is required
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a consulting or corporate setting
• Experience in financial compliance, risk management, and process improvement is an advantage
