Molta Africa, a fast-growing lending fintech and wholly-owned subsidiary of US-based Molta Inc.
, has disbursed over ₦5 billion in SME loans to businesses across key sectors. We’re looking for an experienced
Senior Financial Accountant to strengthen our finance operations and play a key role in shaping our growth.
This is a high-growth role with a clear path to Finance Manager within a short timeframe.
What You’ll Do
• Support the CFO in developing and executing financial strategies
• Lead day-to-day accounting: payables, receivables, payroll, reconciliations
• Manage treasury, liquidity, and banking relationships
• Oversee loan portfolio performance and risk reporting
• Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure regulatory compliance
• Strengthen internal controls and mitigate financial risks
Who You Are
• 3–5+ years in accounting/finance (fintech, lending, banking preferred)
• ACA/ACCA or equivalent is a plus
, but strong hands-on experience is acceptable
• Able to work independently in a remote setup
• Analytical, strategic, and ready to take ownership
