This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Accountant located within Alimosho, Lagos.
The General
Accountant will be responsible for managing the organization’s financial transactions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, maintaining accurate financial records, creating budgets and preparing financial reports. Daily responsibilities include bookkeeping - journal entries, reconciling accounts, preparing tax returns, payroll management, managing accounts payable and receivable, financial analysis, and supporting budget creation and monitoring.

• Skills in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
• Proficiency in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and managing payroll
• Experience in budget planning, monitoring, and financial analysis
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet tools
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Knowledge of local financial regulations and compliance standards
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) is a plus
