You anticipate people challenges before they become problems.You are comfortable with data and use HR metrics to inform decisions and measure impact.Your Responsibilities…Strategy & LeadershipYou will develop and implement HR strategies that are aligned with the company's growth objectives and overall business direction.You will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on all matters relating to people, culture, and workforce planning.You will design and lead initiatives that strengthen the company's employer brand and make it a place where top talent wants to work.Talent Acquisition & Workforce PlanningYou will lead end-to-end recruitment efforts to attract, assess, and onboard the right talent across all departments.You will partner with department heads to identify workforce gaps and develop proactive plans to close them.You will ensure a smooth and engaging onboarding experience that sets every new hire up for success.Performance ManagementYou will design and implement a performance management framework that drives accountability and measurable results.You will support managers in conducting meaningful performance reviews and development conversations.You will align individual goals with company objectives to create a high-performance culture.Employee Relations & CultureYou will champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture rooted in the company's values.You will manage employee relations matters with fairness, consistency, and professionalism.You will design and drive engagement initiatives that keep employees motivated, connected, and committed.Compliance & HR OperationsYou will ensure full compliance with Nigerian labour laws, statutory requirements, and internal HR policies.You will oversee payroll administration, benefits management, and HR documentation across the organisation.You will continuously improve HR processes and systems to enhance the overall employee experience.Learning & DevelopmentYou will identify skill gaps across the organisation and design targeted learning interventions to address them.You will build a culture of continuous learning and professional development at every level.What Success looks like…A structured, compliant HR function with clear policies, processes, and documentation in place within the first 90 days.Reduced time-to-hire for critical roles with a consistent and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.High employee engagement scores and improved retention rates year on year.Zero labour law or compliance breaches across the organisation.Measurable improvement in individual and team performance outcomes following the rollout of a performance management system.A workplace culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to deliver their best work.To be considered for this role you should have…A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in a structured organisation, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.Professional HR certification such as CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, or HRCI is a strong advantage.Strong working knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR compliance requirements.Demonstrated experience across core HR functions including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and HR operations.Proficiency in HR tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.Challenges you may face in this role…Building and institutionalising HR structures in a fast-growing organisation where processes may still be evolving.Balancing the people needs of a scaling workforce while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance.Managing diverse employee expectations across different teams and functions simultaneously.Driving culture and engagement in an environment where priorities shift quickly and demands on people are high.The Goodies…Competitive salary and benefits package.A high-impact role at the centre of a growing, ambitious organisation.Opportunity for professional development and continuous learning.A collaborative and fast-paced work environment where your contributions are seen and valued.Direct influence on the culture, people strategy, and future of the organisation.
