Brief Role Description
• The HR Officer will support the effective management of human resources functions within F-CASD. This role is responsible for assisting in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, and benefits administration. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned with the foundation’s mission.

Responsibilities
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in line with organizational objectives and legal requirements.
• Coordinate recruitment processes, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and supporting candidate selection.
• Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
• Support employee relations by assisting in conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
• Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports as required.
• Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters.
• Stay informed on HR best practices and industry trends to strengthen organizational capacity.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in HR coordination or related roles, preferably within NGOs or development organizations.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
